Applications are invited for a Research Associate to work on a major UKRI project “Resilient Coasts: optimising co-benefit solutions (Co-opt)” funded by the NERC-ESRC Sustainable Management of Marine Resources programme. The RA will be based in the Marine and Coastal Environment research team at the School of Geography and Sustainable Development, supervised by Dr Tim Stojanovic.

The position will suit an applicant who has experience of undertaking social scientific research in a marine or coastal context, or a researcher with natural science training who has begun to develop cross-over skills in the social sciences. You will have undergraduate and Masters degrees, with one of the qualifications from environmental social sciences, geography or cognate disciplines. Applications from candidates with a PhD or close to completing a PhD are particularly welcome. The post is available to start from 1 November 2021.

This post is full time, on a fixed term contract for 3 years, starting 1 November 2021.
